Full-Time Nanny Position
An incredible family of five, residing full-time on the Upper East Side and spending summers in Southampton (Memorial Day to Labor Day), is seeking a full-time nanny to help care for their three children: a 5.5-year-old girl, a 3.5-year-old boy, and a 10-month-old baby girl. This position is live-out in the city and live-in during the summer in the Hamptons. Private accommodations (bedroom and bathroom) are provided. The general schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional overnights as needed. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long-term role and will thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented household. Local candidates only.
Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
- Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
- All aspects of full-charge care, including meal planning, prep, feeding, bathing, and diapering (The family has a chef, but the nanny will be expected to meal prep as well)
- Adhere to schedules and household systems
- Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment while maintaining structure and boundaries
- Proactively plan and coordinate activities and play-dates
- Drive children to/from appointments, school, and activities
- General tidying and organization of children's areas
- Pack/unpack for travel
- Travel with family when requested
- Engage in fun and creative learning activities
- Homework assistance
- Encourage outdoor play and exploration of new things
- Create a safe environment for the children to thrive
- Model healthy behavior across social interactions and emotional regulation
- Research local age-appropriate activities
- Manage daily transitions
- Collaborate closely with parents and household staff to ensure seamless, consistent care and support for the children.
Qualifications

Requirements
- Must be a confident swimmer
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Up-to-date flu and general vaccines
- CPR certified
- Flexible with the schedule and the ability to stay overnight
- Must be able to stay in the Hamptons from Memorial Day to Labor Day (Can go home on days off transportation covered)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
The family is offering $47 per hour, PTO, paid holidays, and a medical stipend.
