Full-Time Live-Out Nanny
A family on the Upper East Side is seeking a wonderful full-time live-out nanny to join their household. They have 3 children, but the 2 older children are in school during the day. The children's ages are 8, 5, and 2 years old, and the primary care will be for the youngest child while the eldest children are in school. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a start time of 6:45am or 7am and the day will end around 4pm or 5pm, making for a total of 45-50 hours weekly. The role begins September 1st.
Responsibilities
- Making breakfast for the family upon arrival in the mornings
- Tidying the home and helping keep it organized throughout the day (I.E., wiping counters, picking up toys, straightening up pillows and blankets, sweeping as needed, etc.)
- The 2-year-old is in school for 3 days a week for 2 hours at a time (6 hours weekly), so during this time, the candidate to hire will focus on helping with the home upkeep and children's laundry (note: they have a housekeeper who comes 1x/week to do the deep cleaning). When the 2-year-old naps during the day is also when there will also be a focus on home upkeep, keeping spaces clean, organizing, tidying, cleanliness, etc.
- Help with meal prep; being savvy in the kitchen will be a trait sought out for this role.
- The Mother is a stay-at-home parent, so working collaboratively is important
- They have a home in the Hamptons that they go to during the summers, so ideally, the candidate will spend a few nights a week out there
- Walking the children to and from school
- There are no pets in the home
Requirements

- Good in the kitchen and comfortable with preparing breakfast for the family in the mornings and some meal prep for family dinners
Salary and Benefits
- $35+/hour depending on experience
- Major holidays off and paid
- 2 weeks' vacation (strongly preferred if the vacation dates coincide with the family's vacation dates)
- No health insurance stipend offered
