Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Administration team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting hospital leadership through in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and data-driven insights. Your work will help optimize resources, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to our mission of delivering excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial, operational, and clinical data to support strategic planning and performance improvement.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting models, revenue projections, and service line profitability reports.
- Create reports and dashboards that clearly communicate findings to executives and department leaders.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing trends and performance metrics.
- Partner with clinical and operational teams to evaluate the financial impact of initiatives.
- Monitor data integrity and ensure accuracy of financial and operational reporting.
- Conduct benchmarking and variance analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support decision-making with scenario analysis and cost-benefit assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis, decision support, or healthcare analytics in an acute care setting.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, cost accounting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with hospital financial systems and databases (e.g., Cerner, Strata, EPSi, Oracle, SQL).
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of hospital reimbursement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
