Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Administration team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting hospital leadership through in-depth financial analysis, forecasting, and data-driven insights. Your work will help optimize resources, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to our mission of delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial, operational, and clinical data to support strategic planning and performance improvement.
  • Develop and maintain cost accounting models, revenue projections, and service line profitability reports.
  • Create reports and dashboards that clearly communicate findings to executives and department leaders.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes by analyzing trends and performance metrics.
  • Partner with clinical and operational teams to evaluate the financial impact of initiatives.
  • Monitor data integrity and ensure accuracy of financial and operational reporting.
  • Conduct benchmarking and variance analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support decision-making with scenario analysis and cost-benefit assessments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis, decision support, or healthcare analytics in an acute care setting.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, cost accounting, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with hospital financial systems and databases (e.g., Cerner, Strata, EPSi, Oracle, SQL).
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical abilities.
  • Knowledge of hospital reimbursement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
