We are looking for a Solutions Portfolio Leader who can effectively lead teams and profitably grow a capabilities-oriented practice area within the Sustainability, Planning & Optimization Services. Strong technical acumen who engages with clients to promote and develop technology solutions, integrating into solution architecture. Supports conversion of prospects to technology focused projects. Thought leadership, solution portfolio strategy development and implementation, business development, and project execution. Ability to create and implement business strategies and manage complex consulting projects. Lead diverse, cross functional, matrix teams to deliver exceptional results. Strong aptitude to build strategies and plans to support growth of the practice area.
Black & Veatch's Strategic Advisory & Lifecycle Resiliency Services are an integrated portfolio of strategic consulting and operation resiliency services that apply across the client's entire investment-to-operations lifecycle commitments. Included are Strategic Advisory, Industrial Cybersecurity, and Operating Assets.
Key responsibilities include: profitably growing solution portfolio volume, developing and implementing solution portfolio strategy, educating internal stakeholders on the solution and value proposition, providing thought leadership and engaging the external community, supporting development of relationships with strategic partners, supporting business development activities, collaborating on client segmentation strategies, driving engagement with peers to create an enterprise account and service approach, seeking opportunities with existing or new clients and being accountable to forecasted metrics, driving proposal activities, supporting negotiation and closure of deals, developing business cases for near and long-term adjacent solutions, working with clients to develop viable solutions, leading development of products and/or services and recommending investment priorities, integrating service offering with others to drive strategic solutions, contributing to portfolio strategy evolution across BV, establishing and analyzing relevant KPIs for the service offering, facilitating discussion and actions to transition proposal basis information to the project execution team upon contract signature, establishing solution execution platforms, driving execution platform adoption, identifying capabilities/skills needed to successfully deliver solutions, execution resource planning and assignments PM/PD development, and consistently delivering as-sold or better project execution results.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree or relevant work experience, typically 15+ years in a business/consulting environment, and successfully managing multiple engagements simultaneously. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, business development of 5+ years, and certifications related to area of expertise.
