We are looking for a dynamic and driven Accounting Manager to join our team.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, financials, manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, reconciliation, monthly ledger, and ERP implementation.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits, providing recommendations for improving procedures and systems for initiating corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with the law and companys policies.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Implement and manage ERP systems to streamline and automate financial processes.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing department to understand and account for company expenses and revenues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reconciliation of all financial accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role.
- Expertise in financial reporting, financials, manufacturing accounting, monthly reporting, reconciliation, monthly ledger, and ERP implementation.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced knowledge of Excel.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
- Strong understanding of business and income tax worksheets and computations.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
