Overview:

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a background in manufacturing? This is a great opportunity to join a growing company where you'll work closely with leadership and multiple departments to support and improve cost accounting processes. This role offers strong potential for advancement and the chance to make a real impact.

What Youll Do:

• Track and update product cost information, including changes driven by material or process updates.
• Monitor and interpret shifts in cost of goods sold and material spending.
• Prepare inventory reports and ensure accurate reconciliation of inventory accounts.
• Assist with monthly closing tasks, including journal entries and account reviews.
• Investigate inventory differences and support regular cycle counts.
• Evaluate production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Partner with internal teams to understand cost trends and help identify savings opportunities.
• Participate in financial planning activities related to operations and production costs.
• Provide necessary documentation and analysis for audits.
• Ensure accounting practices comply with company policies and financial regulations.
• Deliver on-demand reporting and insights to support business decisions.

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 3 years of cost accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with standard accounting principles and costing methodologies.
• Effective communicator with a collaborative approach.
• Skilled in Excel and experienced with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
