Job Opportunity: Analyst - Global Payroll Services (GPS)

Location: Tampa - Hybrid (2 days onsite)

Max Bill Rate: ***/hr

Client's Global Payroll Services (GPS) team is seeking an analyst within our NAM Payroll/Cross-Border Tax team. The candidate should have strong organization skills and an excellent team mentality. Experience with global cross-border administration and/or taxation issues, ServiceNow, and advanced spreadsheet skills is preferred.

The ideal candidate will apply specialized knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. Responsibilities include researching and interpreting factual information, identifying data inconsistencies, defining business issues, and recommending policies or procedures. Candidates must be highly analytical, capable of critical thinking, and experienced in business process evaluation. A strong understanding of NAM payroll processing, including federal and state regulations, is essential.

Basic Functions:

  1. Respond to CBET requests via ServiceNow, monitoring cases from creation to closure, ensuring complete and documented information.
  2. Answer inquiries through a shared mailbox.
  3. Provide verbal and written feedback to vendors, employees, and global partners.
  4. Validate and update employee data as necessary.
  5. Analyze data and metrics in Excel using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced features.
  6. Manage critical, time-sensitive issues to ensure compliance.
  7. Support the team manager and participate in projects, including NYS trailing liabilities related to supplemental compensation for YE 2024/2025, involving population review, record updates, and complex payroll calculations.
  8. Interpret and apply statutory rules, compliance regulations, and corporate policies to ensure accurate pay.
  9. Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and escalating issues appropriately.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Four-year college degree.
  • 2-3 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize work aligned with organizational goals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team across multiple offices and time zones.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
