Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: Cardiac Stepdown * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 08/11/2025 * Duration: 13 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, nights * Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Stepdown Cardiac (CV Stepdown) Facility: Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital 7691 Poplar Ave, Germantown, TN 38138 Start Date: Aug 11, 2025 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks Shift Details: * Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) * Block Schedule: Not guaranteed; weekend block may be considered * Weekend Requirement: As needed * On-Call Requirement: As needed Unit: 3 NORTH – Cardiac Stepdown Patient Ratio: 1:5 Unit Focus: Cardiac and cardiovascular stepdown patients Special Equipment & Procedures: Cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic assessments, CV medication management Position Type: Travel Contract Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Required Experience & Qualifications: * Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent Stepdown/Cardiac Stepdown experience (strict) * Travel Experience: At least 1 previous completed travel assignment * First-Time Travelers: Not accepted unless they have 3+ years of recent, relevant experience * License: Active RN license in compact state or Tennessee * Certifications: * BLS (AHA) – Required * ACLS (AHA) – Required * Cerner experience – Preferred * Education: ADN or higher (BSN not required for this role) Additional Requirements: * No locals accepted – Must reside 100+ miles from facility * No pending licenses – Must be fully compliant with NLC. * Float Requirement: * May float between like units and nearby campuses within 20 miles * Floating between campuses is rare unless stated Charting System: Cerner – Experience preferred About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
