About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Vice President for a vital short-term role in Regulatory and Supervisory Management. This position offers a unique opportunity to foster a robust culture of supervision that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory advancements. The successful candidate will collaborate with global markets supervisors to ensure comprehensive oversight of employee conduct and various operational risks, including market, credit, and underwriting risks.
The VP will develop and maintain an effective first-line supervision framework, build strong relationships with electronic trading supervisors, and provide expert guidance on business management matters. A thorough understanding of global markets supervision frameworks and electronic trading policies is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in business, mathematics, or economics, and Series 7 and 63 certifications. Candidates should have 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally in capital markets or financial services, with a strong background in equities. Extensive knowledge of US electronic and algo trading regulations is critical, along with the ability to engage with trading and sales teams effectively.
We seek an analytical problem-solver who pays attention to detail and can influence key stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are key requirements. This pivotal position plays a crucial role in managing trading operational risks and ensuring alignment with both internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
