Quality Assurance Engineer Technician . We are located in Vista, CA. The SES team provides advanced integrated solutions for aviation, ports, borders, and critical infrastructure globally, employing innovative technologies for automated threat detection and security. This is a unique opportunity to support the introduction of new products, engage hands-on with the latest technologies, and collaborate with talented teammates on vital programs that drive Leidos' success. Your Key Responsibilities: Provide essential QA support by implementing QA/QC practices into the manufacturing process, driving standard work, and monitoring staff performance to align capabilities to appropriate tasks. Conduct first shift final operational tests/verification, support Factory Acceptance Testing (with/without customers), and review final paperwork/packaging before shipment. Additionally, perform supplier audits and qualification. Handle Corrective Action Reports (CARs) and Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs), provide Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) training as necessary, and update Quality documents for the facility. Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience. Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Experience in defining and specifying standards, methods, and procedures for testing and evaluating product precision, accuracy, and reliability. Knowledge of Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) practices and IPC standards related to printed circuit boards (PCBs). Familiarity with measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and plug gauges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Advanced training in Six Sigma or other problem-solving tools. Strong Excel skills. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques, including control charting and process capability assessment. Experience with Design of Experiments (DOE), ANOVA, and Gauge Reliability and Repeatability (GR&R) studies. Prior security clearance. Lean Six Sigma certification. Take the Next Step!
