Primary Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of components, soldering, and assembled mechanical parts.
Interpret and follow assembly instructions with precision.
Lead Internal AS9100 audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
Document non-conformance issues and initiate investigations to determine root causes.
Basic Qualifications
A High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in ISO9001/AS9100 systems or similar experience in DOD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing quality control.
Proficiency in IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
Experience working with non-conforming materials and conducting failure analyses, along with identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Ability to review work instructions for accuracy and completeness while supporting QMS documentation associated with AS9100.
Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Excellent communication skills, demonstrating teamwork in a collaborative environment within multidisciplinary teams.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a final secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook).
Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC-J-STD-001 Space Addendum is highly desirable.
