Job Title: Bartender
Location: Pelham, NY
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. The ideal candidate will be able to mix and serve drinks to patrons directly or through waitstaff, maintain cleanliness and inventory, and ensure guests have a positive and memorable visit.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks. Check customer identification and confirm legal drinking age. Maintain cleanliness of the bar, glassware, and work areas. Ensure consistent quality of service and adherence to all health and safety regulations. Monitor and restock bar inventory and supplies. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Stay current on menu offerings, promotions, and specials.
Requirements: Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar customer service role. Knowledge of drink mixing and garnishing. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol. Certification in bartending or mixology (preferred). Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
Work Environment: Fast-paced bar or restaurant setting. Standing for extended periods. Occasional lifting of heavy kegs or cases.
Compensation: $11 / hr + tips
