Overview: Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a highly qualified
Cybersecurity Engineer to support a potential opportunity supporting our DOD customer.This role will focus on delivering comprehensive cybersecurity support services in alignment with the mission to oversee the transfer, sale, and lease of U.S. military defense articles and services to international partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide cybersecurity expertise to support the secure transfer and management of defense systems and technologies. Lead efforts in defining security requirements, conducting system analysis, and executing cybersecurity test and evaluation activities. Perform security scans, assessments, and remediation planning. Support the implementation and continuous monitoring of the
Risk Management Framework (RMF) , including
Assessment and Authorization (A&A)
and
Authority to Operate (ATO)
processes. Serve as a key contributor in
Security Compliance ,
Information System Security Officer (ISSO)
responsibilities, and
security operations . Provide guidance and support for
Identity and Access Management (IAM)
in accordance with IAM Level III standards. Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are effectively integrated and maintained throughout system lifecycles. Support documentation, reporting, and communication of cybersecurity posture to DSCA leadership and stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications:
Twelve (12) years
of Information Technology (IT) experience. Ten (10) years
of Government cybersecurity experience. Bachelor's degree
in information technology or a related field from an accredited institution. IAM Level III certification
required (e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
or minimum of
four (4) years
of demonstrated project management experience. Seven (7) years
of experience supporting RMF and ATO-related tasks. Active Secret Clearance
