Position Overview We are seeking a

Managed Care Specialist

for a hybrid role in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time-sensitive casework efficiently. This position involves eligibility determinations, case management, and support for legal and administrative processes. Training is extensive (up to 6 weeks, prescheduled) and may be conducted virtually and/or in-office as directed by the supervisor. Attendance during all training sessions is mandatory. No preplanned PTO will be approved during the training period. Candidates must be local to Middle Tennessee and able to commute to the office as needed.

Key Responsibilities Determine individual and family eligibility for managed care programs. Coordinate and communicate schedules to internal and external stakeholders. Conduct client interviews, gather facts and information, and compile case data. Manage casework, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution. Perform legal research, analyze documents, and prepare draft materials. Work within multiple databases to retrieve and process information. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions. Provide assistance to leadership as needed.

Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate degree (required). Background in Paralegal Studies (preferred). Experience in a legal environment (a plus). Customer service or call center background (a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
