As Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll lead complex design and drafting projects. You’ll collaborate with project managers, vendors, and customers to deliver high-quality solutions from concept to commissioning. Responsibilities Develop detailed drawings and 3D models from specifications using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Design new products and improve existing systems with a strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes. Define dimensions, materials, and procedures for custom projects. Manage small-scale projects including scheduling, budgeting, and customer communication. Travel to client sites for installation and commissioning as needed. Maintain and update project drawings and drafting libraries. Prepare engineering documents for customer submittals and internal use. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering. 3+ years of experience with AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
