Job Description: We are seeking aversatile and experienced Print Production Leadto manage print operations and provide cross-functional support in office services for a prestigious private equity firm in Boston’s Back Bay. This role also offers responsibilities across reception, mailroom, conference services, and facilities support.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that requires an individual who thrives under pressure, has excellent attention to detail, and can adapt to a dynamic corporate environment. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in binding, laminating, and high-volume print jobs, while also being open to developing skills across other office support functions.
Note:
Candidates without prior hands-on experience in legal, marketing, or binding print production will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities: Print Production Lead and execute high-volume, deadline-sensitive print jobs with a focus on legal, marketing, and client-facing documents. Perform advanced finishing tasks including binding, laminating, folding, trimming, and quality control. Operate and maintain high-end multifunction print equipment (Ricoh, Canon, Xerox, etc.). Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all output meets branding, formatting, and confidentiality standards. Troubleshoot print equipment and coordinate with service vendors as needed. Monitor and maintain inventory of print supplies to avoid workflow interruptions.
Mailroom & Shipping Support: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages. Coordinate and track all outbound shipments (FedEx, UPS, courier), ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain logs and chain-of-custody documentation for sensitive deliveries.
Reception & Office Services: Assist with reception coverage and front-desk duties, including greeting visitors and handling calls. Support hospitality setups for meetings and maintain conference room readiness. Monitor and restock pantry, office supplies, and facilities-related inventory. Support special projects and administrative tasks as needed.
Team Collaboration & Leadership: Provide daily guidance and mentorship to junior office services staff. Act as the subject matter expert and escalation point for all print-related needs. Collaborate with facilities and office operations teams for smooth day-to-day functioning.
Qualifications: 2–3 years of direct print production experience, specifically with legal or marketing materials and advanced finishing techniques (e.g., coil binding, laminating). Strong knowledge of digital print equipment and print management tools/software. Proven ability to deliver under pressure with high attention to detail. Professional demeanor with experience handling confidential information discreetly. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to be cross-trained and support broader office functions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-facing, corporate setting.
