New Grad Software Engineer
Collins Aerospace is currently seeking qualified candidates for a new grad software engineer in our Business & Regional Avionics Flight Management Systems department located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Teams are composed of cross-functional engineers working in an Agile environment (approximately 6-10 people) focused on the design and development of software-only products. Fusion FMS is our latest deployed Flight Management product, leveraging the latest in integrated avionics systems of our Pro Line Fusion product line to support a range of customers across a variety of platforms around the globe. What You Will Do: Expectations include participating in a cross-functional team daily and coordinating regularly with engineering and project management to ensure success of the product and program. What You Will Learn: Learn software design, development, and verification for Collins ProLine Fusion Flight Management Systems. Understand the DO-178 process. Gain domain knowledge by contributing to software life cycle artifacts. Collaborate in a team environment and build your network. Qualifications You Must Have: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
