Role Overview:
This position is for an Engineer II, disciplined in Display Software Engineering, with proficient software knowledge. The position will have an emphasis on the design, development, and verification of multiple display software solutions executing on multiple platforms. Some platforms will execute display software as a bare-metal application while others will execute display software within an RTOS environment.
Desired Experience:
+ Implementation of a graphics application utilizing APIs such as OpenGL, Vulkan, or A661
+ Development of OpenGL shaders written in GLSL
+ Certification of software in accordance with DO-178
+ Integration with an RTOS such as LynxOS, VxWorks, or Green Hills
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Design, develop, document, test and debug complex low-level software utilizing SoC peripherals to perform data exchange with discrete hardware via a bus such as I2C, SPI, or PCe .
+ Design, develop, document, test and debug middleware and application software containing complex logical and mathematical algorithms.
+ Perform hardware and low-level software integration resolving issues around timing, signal slew rates, device configuration, power-on sequences, data synchronization, etc.
+ Design and implement build procedures that are used to support hardware and software product development and function.
+ Coordinate with other project team members in the planning, design, development, and utilization of display systems to ensure smooth operations on software engineering activities.
+ Ensure company and certification processes are followed.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience OR
+ In absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required
+ Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
This position is open to Onsite and Hybrid candidate
