and career advancement. We’re seeking a
Manual Machinist
with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in both
conventional and CNC machining . In this role, you’ll perform precision work using lathes, mills, grinders, and saws—along with CNC vertical mills and lathes with Fanuc controls. You’ll machine, fabricate, and inspect complex parts to meet exact tolerances, support tooling design, and contribute to process improvements.
What You’ll Do Operate
manual machining equipment
(lathes, mills, grinders, saws) to produce parts from simple to highly complex. Run
CNC vertical mills & lathes
(Fanuc controllers). Perform
machine setups —adjust speeds, feeds, and depths per blueprints and engineering specs. Inspect parts using
precision measuring tools
to ensure accuracy. Assist with
tool, die, jig, and fixture design
and fabrication. Interpret technical drawings, sketches, and specifications. Mentor other machinists and contribute to process improvements.
What We’re Looking For High school diploma, military technical training, or equivalent vocational education. 3–5 years of experience in
machining, toolmaking, or related manufacturing
work. Proficiency with
both manual and CNC machines . Skilled in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments. Strong math skills and ability to solve multi-variable machining problems. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment.
Work Environment Machine shop/production floor setting. Exposure to dust, gases, fumes, and chemicals (PPE provided). Moderate noise level. Frequent standing, bending, and grasping; occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
