Travel **Job Description: Night Shift Radiologic Technologist**
**Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. This position involves providing high-quality radiologic services in a fast-paced environment, focusing on Emergency Room (ER) settings, Level 1 Trauma care, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in a variety of radiography modalities and be able to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Perform general X-ray examinations, including trauma and pediatric imaging. - Conduct portable X-ray duties within the hospital units and on patient floors. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care. - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all imaging procedures. - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations.
**Qualifications:** - Valid ARRT certification and an active Ohio state license. - Prior experience in ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU settings is required. - Proficient in operating specified radiologic equipment, including Shimadzu Rad-Speed and AGFA DXD 100. - Strong understanding of patient care standards and radiologic safety. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in critical situations.
**Additional Requirements:** - Must be available for night shifts (10 PM - 8:30 AM) and required weekend coverage. - Must provide a negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, within the last 12 months. - Background checks may be conducted, with any hits reviewed by the hiring authority. - Minimum of 18 months of experience in a permanent role in the specialty is mandatory. - References from previous supervisors or managers within the last 12 months are required.
