Managers in Training will learn how to manage daily store responsibilities from our experienced leaders, working with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, gaining insights into our company, team, vendors, and guests. This role supports the Store Manager and team in delivering an exceptional guest experience. Training Process
During official training weeks, Managers in Training work alongside Training Managers. Between training weeks, they work various shifts to practice leadership skills. After training, they join our bench leadership team, assisting during absences until assigned their own store. Opportunities for advancement are available across EG America’s nearly 1700 locations nationwide. Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service Assist in building and developing a store team through training, scheduling, and coaching Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and ensure availability Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety in locations with hot food Maintain store cleanliness and appearance, including the coffee station, food area, and restrooms Operate cash register efficiently Support food service operations and perform other duties as assigned Our doors are always open to guests, regardless of weather or holidays. High School or GED Preferred Education
Minimum Experience:
1 year retail or food experience Preferred Experience:
1 year in retail, guest service, or restaurant leadership role Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
ServSafe/Food Safety certification is a plus but not mandatory Soft Skills
Comfortable interacting with guests and team members High energy Ability to switch activities quickly Team-oriented and willing to help others Computer skills helpful Scheduling
Full-time, involving day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays Hours & Conditions
Maximum 40 hours/week plus 5 hours overtime Travel
Approximately 5%; ability to deliver deposits with own vehicle where applicable Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk 8 hours, and work in cool temperatures Other
