Prepare patients by gathering medical and vision histories, explaining procedures, and documenting information. Operate clinical instruments, take measurements, and perform tests to assess visual capabilities. Insert and educate patients on contact lenses, manage contact lens inventory. Administer ophthalmic medications and dilation drops. Scribe for the optometrist and translate as needed. Manage patient flow, communicate effectively with staff and patients. Assist with therapy exercises, office duties, and special projects as assigned. Qualifications
1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficient with MS Office and clinical instruments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Work Conditions
The environment is generally favorable, with adequate lighting and no hazardous conditions. Additional Information
