American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with travel experience and NIHSS certification for a critical care position requiring flexibility to float.Job Details•Work in a 10-bed intensive care unit (ICU) within a hospital environment,•RN to patient ratio is 1:2,•Shift options are 7:00 AM-7:30 PM and 7:00 PM-7:30 AM,•Minimum of three nurses scheduled per shift,•Must be willing to float to Med Surg units as needed,•May be required to take charge nurse responsibilities,•Rare pediatric cases may occur in the unit,•Ventilator management using Servo and LTV vents, vapotherm, and V60 bipaps,•Management of drips, arterial lines, central lines, and response to codes,•Charting is done with Allscripts, Paragon, and McKesson EMRs,Job Requirements•Active RN license required,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,•AHA NIHSS certification required prior to start,•Completion of 6 continuing education hours (CEUs) on stroke-related topics required prior to start,•Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required,•Travel nursing experience required,•Charge nurse capability and experience preferred,•Must pass a proctored EKG exam on Day 1 of contract,Additional Information•May be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or declination as per facility guidelines,•Facility may cancel up to three shifts per assignment,•Important to be flexible and capable of floating to other units,•CEU documentation on stroke topics must be provided prior to starting,),•hash,:•894285769975941193,
