About the Role:
The Safety Representative plays a critical role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment within construction and industrial settings in Deer Park, TX. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety management systems that align with regulatory standards and company policies. The Safety Representative will lead accident investigations to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence. They will also conduct regular safety training sessions and site safety inspections to promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive risk management. Ultimately, this role aims to minimize workplace incidents, protect employee health, and support operational efficiency through effective safety practices.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety or industrial safety roles.
- Proven knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
- Experience conducting accident investigations and preparing formal reports.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver effective safety training.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) certification.
- Experience with behavior-based safety programs and initiatives.
- Familiarity with site-specific safety challenges in the Deer Park, TX industrial environment.
