OVERVIEW
The Senior Print & Packaging Designer is responsible for crafting elevated, brand-defining packaging and print experiences across our product categories. This role blends luxury aesthetics, technical expertise, and a commitment to sustainability to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the customer journey and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, experience working with luxury or premium brands, and a deep understanding of print processes, materials, and sustainability practices. This role, working closely with the design manager, will partner with cross-functional partners, execute production artwork of premium packaging, and manage vendor relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$105,000 per year, which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company's total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.

The Senior Print & Packaging Designer is responsible for crafting elevated, brand-defining packaging and print experiences across our product categories. This role blends luxury aesthetics, technical expertise, and a commitment to sustainability to deliver innovative solutions that enhance the customer journey and meet business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, experience working with luxury or premium brands, and a deep understanding of print processes, materials, and sustainability practices. This role, working closely with the design manager, will partner with cross-functional partners, execute production artwork of premium packaging, and manage vendor relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop luxury packaging concepts for apparel, accessories, beauty, and lifestyle products, ensuring a modern, elevated, and brand-aligned aesthetic.
- Create print materials including hangtags, care booklets, in-store signage, seasonal campaign assets, and specialty print pieces.
- Drive innovation by exploring sustainable materials, eco-conscious solutions, and new printing techniques that reduce environmental impact without compromising design integrity.
- Technical Execution: prepare precise mechanicals, dielines, and production-ready artwork for print and packaging.
- Collaborate with printers, packaging engineers, and overseas vendors to maintain design intent, material integrity, and premium quality across all deliverables.
- Conduct pre-press checks and troubleshoot technical challenges to ensure flawless production.
- Partner with Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing, and Site teams to ensure packaging solutions align with assortment plans and campaign narratives.
- Uphold brand standards across all physical touchpoints while infusing creativity and innovation.
- Maintain a high level of detail and craftsmanship, ensuring every piece reflects the brand's premium positioning.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in print and packaging design, preferably in luxury fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
- Deep knowledge of printing processes, structural packaging, specialty finishes (foils, embossing, debossing, UV coatings), and sustainable material sourcing.
- Experience preparing production-ready files and dielines with precision.
- Strong conceptual thinking, with a passion for visual storytelling and brand experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborative mindset with leadership qualities to mentor and inspire others.
- Familiarity with 3D rendering tools (KeyShot, Cinema 4D) for packaging visualization preferred
- Proven track record of implementing eco-conscious packaging innovations.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and overseas production.
- Passion for sustainability and innovative materials.
