Assistant Executive Housekeeper
to support our Housekeeping leadership team and ensure smooth daily operations. Position Summary: The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to oversee and manage the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role ensures the highest level of cleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction while supervising and developing team members. Key Responsibilities: Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the housekeeping department’s daily operations
Supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and cleaning procedures
Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas for quality assurance
Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control of cleaning supplies and equipment
Help create and manage department schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve service and performance goals
Address guest requests, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally
Support compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Maintain open communication with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role (hotel experience preferred)
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven ability to manage time and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of OSHA and safety regulations in hospitality
Proficiency with housekeeping management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as required
