Job Purpose: The People Experience Business Partner supports strategic HR initiatives and organizational effectiveness across the Americas, primarily serving employees on the East Coast (US) and Latin America. What You’ll Do: Partner with leadership to lead change, growth, and transformation, delivering effective HR strategies for North and Latin American territories. Build strong relationships with business leaders and staff, providing thought leadership on organizational strategies. Serve as a trusted HR partner on initiatives including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development. Collaborate with Sony’s HR teams and legal counsel to support HR policies, minimize risks, and ensure compliance. Support annual processes like salary reviews, open enrollment, and leaves, ensuring adherence to deadlines and practices. Promote continuous learning and development through tailored programs aligned with business goals. Lead cultural change initiatives and establish performance and succession plans. Work with Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams to integrate inclusive practices into organizational success. Coordinate with Total Rewards to ensure competitive compensation and benefits. Lead or participate in HR projects to standardize and improve HR practices organization-wide. Ensure compliance with employment laws and legislative updates, providing guidance to leadership and staff. Partner with HR Service Delivery to support employee transactions and maintain HRIS data integrity. Perform other duties as assigned. Who You Are: Minimum 5 years of HR Business Partner or Generalist experience supporting global leaders. Bachelor’s Degree and professional HR certification required. On-site presence Monday–Thursday. Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking). Experience with Workday HRIS preferred. Strong operational HR experience, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. Proven project management and change facilitation skills. Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights. Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.
