Summary of Position
The Receiving/Distribution Warehouse Associate duties includewarehouse receiving, packing, shipping, inventory, and other various warehousefunctions. While most of the time will be devoted to these primaryfunctions, there may be exceptions that require cross-training on otheroperations throughout the facility.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a minimum, thefollowing is a basic description of typical duties and responsibilitiesexpected of the Receiving/Distribution Warehouse Associate. These duties are not exhaustive and are subject tochange as the needs of the organization require. Demonstrate understanding of company objectives and operating standards. Process customers' orders daily or within the required time stated on the ship tickets. Pull and stage material according to the bill-of-lading and ensure the correct material is shipped to the customer. Receive all incoming materials daily. Obtain proof of identity from carriers and appropriate signatures on the bill-of-lading. Prepand/or load all outbound freight or TEK trucks. Assist daily in the storage of excess inventory. Manage inventory through cycle count activity. Assist all operations of shipping, receiving, warehouse, and transportation. Safely drive forklift to pull and move materials within the warehouse. Ensure the proper disposition of all inbound/outbound freight. Maintainfacility, vehicles, and equipment. Keepa clean and safe work environment. Adhereto Tek's safety rules, regulations, and quality standards. Adhere toTek's handbook policies and procedures. RequiredQualifications
Highschool diploma or equivalent Goodwritten and oral communication skills Good computer skills Good organizational, problem-solving, andtime management skills Ability to effectively multi-task and workindependently on assigned tasks Abilityto measure using different tools, e.g., micrometers and calipers Abilityto read and calculate numbers and data Operatewith high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers,and suppliers Strongwork ethic; self-motivated Company Benefits
