Our community is seeking an Executive Director to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Manage the operation of the community in accordance with standards and guidelines from the Owners/Board of Directors, Discovery Management Group, and applicable laws and regulations.
Communicate and model a clear, customer-focused vision based on a resident-centered care model.
Build relationships within the local area to drive business, effectively price services, and maximize revenue and market position.
Develop and execute external business development strategies, with clear accountability, to maximize referrals and move-ins.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and procedures for residents.
Maintain accurate and compliant resident administrative files.
Achieve financial targets to maximize capital returns.
Have functional knowledge of all operating programs, including memory care, clinical, dining, and social programs.
Prepare and adhere to the community budget.
Achieve or exceed budgeted revenue through occupancy and room rate maximization.
Review financial statements monthly and implement corrective plans as needed.
Manage key non-labor operating costs within budget.
Process and submit expenses and budget data timely and in accordance with policies.
Meet NOI and occupancy goals.
Oversee all departments, ensuring efficient operations and financial compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, Hospital Administration, or a related health field.
At least three years of managerial experience, preferably in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality industries.
Experience in hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations, and discipline.
Previous sales experience is preferred.
Proven success in managing operating expenses.
Administrator license or certification.
