We design and build infrastructure to support features that empower billions of Apple users. Our team processes trillions of links to find the best content to surface through search. We analyze pages to extract critical features for indexing and ranking. We apply statistical analysis to improve link selection, freshness, retrieval rates, extraction quality, and more. You will have the opportunity to work with large-scale systems handling trillions of rows and many petabytes of data with complex challenges. Minimum Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in software development Strong coding skills in C++ or Python Solid background in computer science, algorithms, and data structures Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience in applied machine learning, modeling, and productization Experience with large-scale language model training or deployment Experience with large data generation and decontamination Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including base pay within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base pay range for this role is $171,600 to $302,200. Employees may also participate in stock programs, receive benefits such as medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, discounts, and educational reimbursement.
