Responsibilities: Create overall application and solution architectures, component designs, and systems integration and implementations for a business solution. Lead efforts in defining, documenting, and estimating for enterprise applications, including data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and OS environment, topologies, interfaces, checks, controls, inputs, and outputs. Collaborate with IT staff to assess business needs and translate them into automated solutions. Produce solution design artifacts such as technical estimates, system designs, sequence diagrams, and data models. Coordinate new system development for consistency and integration with existing systems and COTS solutions. Analyze feasibility and compatibility with hardware and other programs; consult with clients to prototype and design applications. Collaborate with Business and Enterprise Architects to understand needs and provide strategic consultation. Partner with architects and technical teams to develop roadmaps supporting agency KPIs. Design and implement enterprise security and technology patterns. Consult on initiatives and provide architecture considerations on legacy solutions. Qualifications: Experience with SAFe architecture and Agile/Scrum teams. Proven experience in enterprise and solution architecture design. Experience linking cross-functional applications across business units. Knowledge of requirements analysis, business process modeling, and data mapping. Knowledge of relational database design and management. Good project management skills and exposure to project lifecycle models. Knowledge of system and software quality assurance practices. Competency with XML schemas and constructs. Experience with API protocols such as SOAP and REST. Understanding of end-user needs and organizational goals. Ability to work creatively and analytically in a team environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills.
