The Team Leader supports both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations, taking ownership of shift performance and leading by example. This role bridges the gap between hourly team members and management, helping to maintain pace, quality, and hospitality in all areas of the restaurant. The Team Leader ensures smooth communication between FOH and BOH, assists with prep, and supports the team wherever needed.
What You'll Do
Lead the Shift Across FOH & BOH
Serve as a point of contact for both FOH and BOH during assigned shifts Monitor ticket times, food quality, and service flow Step in to assist on the line, expo, or front counter as needed Coordinate between FOH and BOH to keep service running smoothly Training & Coaching
Assist with onboarding and training new team members in both FOH and BOH roles Provide real-time feedback and encourage best practices Lead by example in energy, professionalism, and attention to detail Food Quality, Prep & Stocking
Support prep for high-use items like sauces, sides, desserts, and catering orders Assist in cooking, assembling, or plating menu items according to standards Maintain proper station setup and readiness before, during, and after service Perform inventory counts and place/submit truck orders as needed to maintain proper stock levels Guest Experience
Greet guests and address any concerns with professionalism and urgency Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area Ensure all orders are accurate and presented well Health, Safety & Cleanliness
Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards Monitor cleanliness in both FOH and BOH throughout the shift Report any maintenance or safety issues to management promptly Serve as a keyholder, responsible for opening and securing the restaurant at the start and end of shifts You'll Stand Out If You:
