Accounts Payable Specialist , you will play a vital role in supporting our mission of helping nonprofits thrive. You will be contributing to meaningful projects that make a difference in communities. This full-time opportunity offers the possibility of remote work after training.You will be asked to attend some all-hands meetings on site. All-hands meetings are mandatory unless onsite presence is waived. Join us and be part of something bigger! Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member to support our Accounts Payable functions. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing client company expenses and vendor payments with accuracy in a timely manner. The specialist must ensure proper coding, approvals, and documentation of all payables while maintaining positive relationships with vendors. Key Responsibilities: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices ensuring timely payments. Process expense reports in an accurate and timely manner. Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payments. Ensure proper approval and GL coding of all payables Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Process weekly check runs and electronic payments oMaintain organized records and support month-end closing oRespond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely, professional manne o Assist with audits and financial reporting as needed Prepare accurate reports to comply with GAAP, Charitable and Gaming Commission Standards. Collaborate with internal team members. Qualifications: Two to five years of experience in all aspects of accounts payable. Proficiency in ERP accounting software such as Oracle or SAP with Sage 50 preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn new skills quickly. Strong comfort level with all types of technology. Why Join Us? An inclusive work environment.
