Center , where you will lead and innovate within our Finance systems, primarily focusing on Workday Financials. Reporting to the Director of the Workday Service Center, you will manage a dedicated team responsible for the seamless operation of Workday Core Financials, Grants Management, Projects, Billing, and Procurement functionalities. This role is pivotal in driving strategic partnerships with our Finance functions to enhance system efficiency and support business objectives. Essential Job Functions: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, guiding the planning, development, testing, and implementation of Workday Financials. Lead the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and new reports, ensuring smooth system operations and user adoption. Troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain data integrity and support Finance business processes. Provide expert guidance on Workday Financials, simplifying technical concepts for non-technical users. Continuously evaluate systems and recommend improvements to support business strategies. Manage and support Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Web Services, and Cloud Connect. Ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other business systems through effective integration management. Develop and maintain complex reports using Workday Reporting tools, such as Advanced Reporting, Matrix Reports, and Workday Prism Analytics. Analyze and interpret data to support decision-making and strategic planning. Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of Workday Financials, with a preference for experience in Grants Management. Proven experience in ERP and Financial Management, including end-to-end software deployment. Familiarity with Workday HCM applications is preferred. Proficiency in Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Workday Web Services, and Cloud Connect. Expertise in Workday Reporting tools, including Advanced Reporting, Matrix Reports, and Workday Prism Analytics. Strong problem-solving skills to manage integration and reporting challenges, ensuring data accuracy and insightful analysis. Experience & Education: A BA/BS degree in a relevant technical field is required, with strong consideration for advanced degrees and professional certifications. Minimum of 10 years of related experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role. Location(s): Santa Monica, CA, Pittsburgh PA, Washington DC (Arilington VA). This position is eligible for RAND’s hybrid work environment, which enables a blend of on-site and remote work. Salary Range

: $151,000 - $230,100 RAND considers a variety of factors when formulating an offer, including but not limited to, the specific role and associated responsibilities; a candidate’s work experience, education/training, skills, expertise; and internal equity.The salary range includes base pay plus RAND’s sabbatic pay (which provides additional compensation above base pay when vacation is taken).
