Family Office/Multi-State
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated *Senior Tax Accountant* to join our growing CPA firm. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of federal and state income tax returns for our small business and individual clients. You will work closely with our team and be a key point of contact for clients, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Tax Preparation & Review:* Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and C-corporations. * *Client Communication:* Proactively communicate with clients to gather necessary information, answer questions, and provide status updates throughout the tax season. * *Team Collaboration:* Collaborate with junior and senior staff on tax projects, including tax planning and year-end accounting clean-up. * *Problem-Solving:* Research and resolve complex tax issues and discrepancies. * *Compliance:* Stay up-to-date on new tax laws and regulations to ensure all filings are compliant.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. * CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is preferred. * 3+ years of experience preparing and reviewing a wide range of tax returns. * Proficiency with tax software, including Proconnect (and/or other common programs like Lacerte, UltraTax, ProSeries). * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
