About the Opportunity :
A well-established and forward-thinking CPA firm is looking to add aSenior Tax Accountantto its growing team. This role offers the chance to work with a wide variety of clients including individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. You’ll play a key role in preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing strategic tax planning, and supporting junior staff in a collaborative environment that values growth and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and review federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax matters
Assist with year-round tax planning and strategy for clients
Support clients with tax notices, audits, and correspondence
Review work prepared by staff and provide mentorship and training
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service
Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA license or CPA eligibility required
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in public accounting
Strong knowledge of federal and California tax regulations
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
