Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement legal defenses for Workers’ Compensation cases. Manage a caseload of approximately 90-100 cases, including related files. Conduct legal research and analyze complex issues. Draft and argue petitions. Represent clients at hearings, trials, arbitrations, and alternative dispute resolutions. Collaborate with Claims Partners to achieve favorable outcomes. Participate in team meetings and file reviews to refine legal strategies and improve client service. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school and active license in California. Legal internship or Law Clerk experience preferred. Familiarity with Workers’ Compensation laws is a plus. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong negotiation and communication skills. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Effective planning and execution skills. Additional Information: This role is primarily remote, with travel expected 1-4 days per week within Los Angeles, Marina Del Rey, Van Nuys, and Oxnard, CA. We offer flexible work arrangements and a casual work environment. Compensation: The annual base salary range is $81,840 - $122,760, based on market analysis and individual experience. Compensation includes potential bonuses, incentives, and recognition programs. Actual pay may vary depending on performance and competencies.
