As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough research on the history, design, and construction of historic buildings - Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to develop preservation plans - Create detailed drawings and specifications for restoration projects - Oversee the implementation of preservation plans and ensure they adhere to all regulations and guidelines - Conduct site visits to assess the condition of historic structures and make recommendations for repairs or renovations - Provide technical expertise on preservation techniques, materials, and methods
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field - Minimum of 2 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects - Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and preservation guidelines - Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software - Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders - Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and ability to problem-solve
This position offers a competitive salary of $1300 per month along with visa sponsorship for non-native English speakers.
