Job Description Summary Fenwick is seeking a Patent Transfer Coordinator responsible for reviewing and processing patent matters to ensure compliance with Patent File Transfer procedures. The coordinator will perform file audits, assess prosecution status, review due dates, and prepare/file patent formalities and prosecution documents for transfer files.

Work Arrangement This role can be based in any U.S. office with a hybrid work setup, balancing remote work and in-office presence as needed. The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, with flexibility for overtime.

Responsibilities

Maintain a Patent File Transfer Tracking System.

Follow guidelines for patent file transfers.

Audit patent files for status and upcoming due dates.

Coordinate with clients and counsel for transfer-in and transfer-out files.

Prepare and file necessary patent documents.

Monitor docket and coordinate with billing.

Update client information and coordinate file transfers with the Information Governance team.

Keep stakeholders informed of transfer developments.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proficiency with PTO platforms like Patent Center, Assignment Center, WIPO.

Knowledge of US and foreign patent rules.

Experience with US patent formalities and docketing.

Strong research and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and document management systems.

Minimum four years of patent prosecution or docketing experience, preferably in a law firm.

Benefits & Compensation Salary range: $84,000 - $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health, life insurance, HSA, FSA, and wellbeing programs. Discretionary bonuses may apply.
