Financial Close & Consolidation Consultant

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support finance processes within the Financial Close & Consolidation team. This role will focus on managing and enhancing book close activities, consolidation processes, financial reporting, and analysis to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial results.
What You Will Work On
Book Close Support: Execute and oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and accuracy standards.
Consolidation Processes: Support the preparation and validation of consolidated financial statements.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial reports in compliance with GAAP and statutory requirements.
Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making.
Collaboration: Partner with finance, accounting, and operational teams to align processes and reporting requirements.
Process Improvements: Identify and implement enhancements to close, consolidation, and reporting workflows.
What You Will Bring
7+ years of accounting or finance experience, ideally within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services. Strong knowledge of financial close, consolidation, and reporting processes. Experience with consolidation tools and ERP systems preferred. Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. What You Can Expect
