We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support finance processes within the Operating Expense Accounting team. This role will be responsible for key activities related to the financial close, intercompany transactions, expense allocations, and reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. What You Will Work On Book Close Support: Manage and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for operating expenses. Intercompany Transactions: Oversee management fee calculations, intercompany billing, and reconciliations. Expense Allocations: Support and validate intercompany and departmental expense allocation processes. Financial Exhibits: Prepare and review selected financial exhibits to ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements. Reporting & Analysis: Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, variance analysis, and insights to stakeholders. Collaboration & Process Improvements: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process efficiency and improved financial controls. What You Will Bring

7+ years of accounting or finance operations experience, ideally within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services. Strong knowledge of operating expense accounting, intercompany billing, and allocation processes. Proven experience supporting book close and financial reporting cycles. Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel; experience with ERP platforms preferred. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
