Workplace Services (WS) is a growing enterprise at Charles Schwab. Participant Education, along with other Workplace Branch teams, support the WS enterprise in unlocking growth across three primary business lines: Retirement Plan Services, Stock Plan Participant Services, and Designated Brokerage Services. The Participant Education Presenter is experienced at delivering financial education to groups and individuals, engaging audiences both in-person and virtually, and inspiring positive action. The team drives top-line growth by helping participants engage with their workplace benefits and bridging them to Schwab solutions through our “Seeing through clients’ eyes” approach. What you’ll do: As a Manager - Participant Education Presenter, you’ll work within a highly collaborative, results-oriented team, accountable for organizational growth by helping plan participants become lifelong Schwab clients through: Engaging with participants in 1:many and 1:1 settings (onsite and virtual) to deepen relationships and introduce Schwab’s offerings. Developing a thorough understanding of Schwab’s value proposition and integrating it into the WFS Participant Experience to support growth. Building trusted partnerships with plan sponsors and collaborating with service teams. Communicating effectively to ensure successful execution of engagement strategies. Innovating and supporting the evolution of our educational offerings. Meeting and exceeding performance targets independently. Traveling as required, approximately 25-50%+ of the time, depending on region and business needs. This position primarily supports the East Coast region. Ideal candidates will be located in major markets such as Westlake, TX; Richfield, OH; Chicago, IL; Orlando, FL; or Jersey City, NJ. Telecommuting may be possible with approval. What you have: 5+ years of experience in Qualified Retirement Plans, Financial Planning, Employee Benefits, or similar financial services roles. 3+ years of public speaking and facilitation experience, leading meetings and inspiring action. Valid Series 7 and Series 66 (or 63/65) licenses. Advanced industry designation from CFFP or ability to obtain within 12 months; CFP preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with understanding of ERISA, pension/trust compliance, plans, NQDCs, and equity compensation. Strong communication and listening skills; proficient in person, phone, and virtual meetings. Knowledge of wealth management and financial planning concepts. Ability to influence without authority, with excellent organization and time management skills. High achievement orientation with quantitative success metrics. Good business judgment and resource utilization skills. Willingness to step outside comfort zone and try new approaches.
