Job Description ***This is a RELOCATION OPPORTUNITY to Kendallville, IN or Nicholasville, KY. Relocation Assistance will be provided for the right candidate.*** **** INJECTION MOLDING REQUIRED **** Summary

The selected candidate will be responsible for successful cost estimating, design, implementation, launch, and continuous improvement for all assigned manufacturing equipment and processes that produce the company’s products. Determines and develops approaches to assignments. Leads or is key in development and/or design projects requiring coordination with other functions. Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity. Primary Responsibilities

Performs Cost Estimating & Sales Feasibility Research & development of new technologies, materials, and capital equipment Tooling and fixture design Tooling validation including adherence to company standards, mold flow analysis & tool shop approvals. Tooling PM strategy & establish requirements for each new tool New mold start-up and validation of first shots Program/Project management responsibilities as assigned Manage tool room employees and activities with defined metrics and strategic initiatives. Process support & troubleshooting Select vendors for equipment and production materials. Develop and issue criteria to vendors for items supplied. Identify and develop new technical ideas. Evaluate them against requirements, quality, timeline, and cost Consider customer needs and trends for projects and activities Incorporate business, market, industry, and competitive knowledge into technical solutions Perform Design Verification testing to support engineering changes to products Determine required tasks and complete on time with no supervision Identify and communicate potential risks with appropriate mitigations Address routine technical problems by leading a team to brainstorm solutions Support other engineers as required Participate in planning personnel safety and protection activities consistent with OSHA/IOSHA and all regulatory standards and guidelines, ensuring all reporting associates are trained and compliant. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Establish area goals to support strategic initiatives. Other Responsibilities

Support IATF initiatives as applicable. Coordinate safety efforts with Safety Administrator. Keep abreast of materials related to the company's needs through trade publications, seminars, and classes. Direct Reports

Tooling group Automation group Requirements and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. Proficient with Microsoft Office and CAD viewing software. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Self-motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Company Description Creative Liquid Coatings is a TS 16949 certified manufacturer specializing in Injection Molding, Chrome Plating, and Painting of automotive components. Our machines range from 100 Tons to 5000 Tons, capable of handling various performance materials from commodity to engineered thermoplastics.
