Aircraft Quality Inspectors
in
Bridgeport, West Virginia . This is a great opportunity to join a respected MRO facility and support CRJ airframe operations in a heavy maintenance environment. If you're an experienced inspector with a valid A&P license and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Job Overview: As an Aircraft Quality Inspector, you'll be responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, engineering specifications, and internal quality standards. This is a
safety-sensitive position
that requires precision, technical skill, and a deep understanding of inspection protocols under FAR 145, 121, or 135. Job Location & Type: Location:
Bridgeport, West Virginia
Employment Type:
Full-Time, Contract or Contract-to-Direct
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, day and night rotation, including weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections of aircraft and components under FAR 145, 121, or 135, or in accordance with military procedures
Conduct quality checks on CRJ airframe maintenance activities
Evaluate aircraft part fabrication processes and ensure compliance with documentation
Interpret engineering drawings and maintenance manuals
Use precision measurement tools and calibrated equipment to verify tolerances
Document maintenance actions accurately and clearly
Collaborate with maintenance teams to uphold safety and operational standards
Pass hearing and vision tests as required for quality control roles
Required Qualifications:
FAA A&P License required
Minimum of
3 years' experience in aircraft inspections
MRO or heavy maintenance experience required
CRJ airframe experience required
Strong working knowledge of aircraft fabrication processes, inspection tooling, and calibrated measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering instructions
Proficient in verbal and written communication related to aircraft maintenance and compliance
Must be comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends and nights
