Aircraft Quality Inspectors
in Tucson, Arizona. This is a critical position responsible for ensuring all aircraft maintenance meets the highest regulatory and safety standards. If you're a licensed A&P professional with CRJ airframe expertise and a strong background in inspections under FAR 145, 121, or 135-or in military environments-this role offers long-term stability and industry-respected experience. Responsibilities: Perform detailed aircraft inspections in compliance with FAR 145, 121, 135, or equivalent military standards
Conduct inspections on commercial and/or military aircraft, with a focus on CRJ airframes
Apply knowledge of MRO and heavy maintenance operations to ensure quality and compliance
Use and interpret a wide range of precision measurement instruments and calibrated tooling
Read and interpret engineering documents, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
Evaluate tolerances and part specifications using specialized gauges and measurement devices
Understand the aircraft part fabrication process and support quality oversight of fabrication activities
Maintain accurate documentation of all inspections and findings
Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, regarding maintenance actions
Participate in rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of inspection experience in aircraft maintenance under FAR 145, 121, 135, or military equivalent
FAA
Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
required
CRJ airframe experience is required
MRO and heavy maintenance background required
Proven ability to use and interpret precision measuring tools and specialty inspection equipment
Must be able to pass vision and hearing tests
Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts with rotating schedules
