Job Summary
The Clinical Coordinator leads and coordinates the clinical functions of the department to ensure high quality patient service, safety, and outcomes. Includes leading a multidisciplinary team of healthcare workers, providing a safe and effective work environment. Duties include providing appropriate orientation for new employees, scheduling employees, managing daily clinic flow, supervision of patient care, patient case management, communication and collaboration with staff.
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other healthcare related field
Experience
Required: One year nursing/healthcare experience
Preferred: Previous nursing experience in an outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting
Preferred: Leadership experience
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
Exhibits valuable management skills
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Required: Current RN license active in the state of Missouri
