Permanent, Full Time Department Information The mission of the Rail Safety Division (RSD) is to promote and enforce rail safety and improve rail safety culture through inspections and enforcement efforts. RSD includes the Railroad Operations Safety Branch, Rail Crossings and Engineering Branch, and Rail Transit Safety Branch. Department Website: http://www.cpuc.ca.gov Job Description and Duties Applicants must have eligibility. The examination process is separate from this vacancy application. Virtual or in-person interviews may be conducted. Under general direction, the Program and Project Supervisor plans work and supervises staff in various initiatives and projects related to rail safety, including the Railroad Bridge Evaluation Program, Railroad Tunnel Evaluation Project, and others.
