Associate Director, Digital Engagement Position Overview Propeller is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and strategic Manager, Digital Media Activationto lead media campaign execution. This role is responsible for the strategic creative recommendations, trafficking, tagging, QA, reporting, and optimization of omnichannel media campaigns (social, programmatic, search, endemic display, email, custom programs). The ideal candidate brings deep media expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. The Manager, Digital Media Activation will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure creative recommendations are strategically sound, that campaigns are set up in ad servers, that campaigns are tagged and compliant, and that campaigns are live in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Responsible for the strategic and timely execution of the media plan– ensuring all placements have creative; creative delivers on strategic goals, creative aligns to brand milestones, specs are shared/correct; discrepancies and delays are flagged early; and creative deadlines are met Track creative fulfillment throughout the year by placement, audience, flight Build and foster relationships with third-party vendors, including applicable packaging and handoffs of ads Lead and/or participate in client communications inclusive of tactical/vendor status calls and digital media planning Campaign Setup Set up, traffic, tag, QA, and launch endemic display, search, email, custom, and social campaigns in ad management platforms. Ensure all campaigns are tagged for engagement measurement, ad verification, and campaign effectiveness. Quality Assurance (QA) Lead robust QA of creative assets, tracking tags, and campaign setup prior to launch. Troubleshoot and resolve trafficking or delivery issues in partnership with internal and external teams. Performance Monitoring & Optimization Monitor campaign pacing, performance, and delivery; recommend and implement optimizations. Oversee in-flight adjustments based on data and insights. Reporting & Analysis Lead the development regular performance reports Support the analysis of cross-channel results Data Governance & Compliance Implement data governance practices to ensure clean, reliable, and actionable data across systems Implement data privacy, security, and compliance protocols in accordance with industry regulations and US state-specific privacy acts (eg. CCPA) Qualifications 3+ year experience and deep knowledge of the media management process and tools, preferably in an agency setting Expertise with ad servers, CRM, and measurement tools Google Campaign Manager, DSPs, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, GA4, HubSpot, Salesforce, Crossix Strong understanding of tagging, trafficking, QA, and digital media measurement. Familiarity with ad verification/fraud tools (e.g. IAS, DoubleVerify). Experience with data governance and compliance protocols Proficiency in media analytics/reporting tools. Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field. Experience with omnichannel media campaigns (including display, social, programmatic, and email). Experience in Pharma Experience working with tag management systems (e.g., GTM, Tealium) The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
