POSITION OVERVIEW
As a
Site Safety & Environmental Compliance Manager
your roles and responsibilities will include:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental health & safety regulations Lead and support implementation of SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) and ISO management systems (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001) Conduct internal assessments (e.g., JSAs, PHAs, Ergonomic Evaluations) Administer EHS-related programs, training, emergency drills, and inspections Act as Emergency Response Coordinator and lead incident investigations Supervise waste handling, reduction, and disposal processes Chair the site safety committee and drive its strategic initiatives Partner with internal stakeholders to build a culture of safety
QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Site Safety & Environmental Compliance Manager who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Site Safety & Environmental Compliance Managerwould be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
Bachelor's degree (required) 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with environmental compliance and audits Experience with sustainability metrics and waste reduction strategies (preferred) Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills
