PCMI (Policy Claim Management International) is a fast-growing, leading provider of integrated software for Extended Warranty Management and Finance and Insurance (F&I) administration. We are a SaaS company that operates in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. Our 3 teams located in the US, Poland, and Thailand work collaboratively around the clock to build our PCRS platform that automates the full administration lifecycle of all extended warranties, F&I products, and service contracts for our customers.
What You'll Do
The Mid-level BI Developer will be responsible for developing and monitoring custom SSRS reports.
In this role, you will: Design, develop, revise, and maintain existing reports, Datawarehouse and Power BI library. Gather and translate business requirements into report designs. Design and monitor construction of user-facing presentation tools, such as Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports, Power BI Dashboards. Generate ad-hoc reports as needed. Provide reporting to customers and management to support business decisions and become more proficient in the use of the application. Configure, manage, and design Kafka solutions via Confluent. Communicate with team members to assess progress of deliverables. Examine, evaluate, and develop reporting requirements for various business units; develop reports and reporting structures as required. Communicate reporting changes, enhancements, and modifications verbally or through written documentation to management and other team members. Work with other reporting team members to prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in reporting systems across the organization. Develop, design, and analyze data architecture and data warehouses. Develop visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop. What You'll Need to Join Our Team
Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience. 3+ years' experience with BI tools - SSRS, SSAS, SSIS and Power BI. 3+ years' experience with Kafka/Confluent Strong knowledge on Optimizing existing queries. Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve complex problems. Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements. Able to implement row level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI. Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models. Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly. Proficient in DAX, Transact-SQL, MDX queries. Knowledge and skills for secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, Visual Studio. Why Work For Us
